Can’t connect to the office Wi-Fi
Progress: Developer working on it (step 2 of 4).
- Laptops and devices
- Connection and access
- Software and system errors
Getting help takes three steps.
Read the staff guide-
Report the problem
A short title, the details, and a screenshot if it helps. It goes straight to the developer.
-
Follow it like a parcel
See where it is at a glance. When it says Need your reply, the developer has a question for you.
-
Check the fix
Once it’s closed, make sure it works. Same problem back? Reopen the ticket and carry on.
Less chasing.
More clarity.
No piecing the story together from separate chats and emails. The problem, the conversation and the next step stay on one ticket.
- See where it stands at a glance
- Get an email when something changes
- Find earlier replies and screenshots
YouMy laptop keeps disconnecting. I’ve attached the error message.
DeveloperThanks for the screenshot. I’m checking the connection settings and will update you here.
Every reply stays with the ticket. This is an example.
Good to know
First time here? You don’t need to be technical to ask for help.
How do I get an account?
Ask the admin or the developer to add you. You’ll get an email with a temporary password and a Confirm my email button, both valid for 3 days. Confirm your email, sign in, and choose your own password.
What should I put in a ticket?
Say what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and any error message you saw. A screenshot often helps. Never include passwords.
How will I know there’s an update?
You get an email whenever the developer replies or closes your ticket. When the status says “Need your reply”, open the ticket and answer the question.
What if the problem comes back?
Open your closed ticket and select Reopen ticket, then say what’s happening now. The developer sees the whole history. For a different problem, report a new one.
